Our unique and life-transforming experiences, be it our inspiring workshops and retreats, Monthly Meets, Outback Journeys or overseas “pilgrimages” to distant lands, enable the busy modern woman to tap into her core, connect with other like-minded women, and return to her life energized, empowered, and ready to make a difference.
Our experiences are not for everyone. Our journeys are not about the “tourist” experience or site-seeing holidays. We only invite the mentally and emotionally courageous and adventurous. We ask that our experiences be approached with openness and humility. Who is “Millie”? “Millie” was the childhood name of Amelia Earhart, the American aviatrix who flew solo from the Atlantic to the Pacific in 1928. She embodies the Postcards From Millie woman; she has courage of mind and spirit, is adventurous, active and ready to make a difference.
Postcards From Millie was founded by Victoria Ugarte from Sydney, Australia in 2008. With 30 years experience in the Australian fashion industry, traveling the world, and 14 years as a sole parent, Victoria knows all about the challenges that modern women face and the intense pressures to perform at peak levels in all areas of their lives. Being ever inspired by her hero and muse, Amelia Earhart, Victoria chanelled her passion for inspiring modern women by providing them with life-transforming experiences that enable them to connect with their own power.
